| Forgot to mention, you see the same problem on the MSN Money web site. | Yes, it's back. But it isn't quite what you describe. Yesterday the prices WERE updated, but the date was not. e.g. at Jan 18, 2:30 AM CST, all 5 of my American funds showed the correct prices for Jan 17, but they were dated Jan 13. OTOH, the prices and dates for the Vanguard funds were prices for Jan 17, dated correctly. Now, at 8:00 PM on Jan 18, things have deteriorated further. For American Funds I still see the prices from 1/17 but dated 1/13, i.e. they have not been updated at all since yesterday. For the Vanguard funds, I see 1/18 prices dated 1/17. Tech Support says this is a problem with their quotes supplier. Sounds to me as though, after 3 months of this, they need a new supplier. AFAIK, the only "work around" is to go to the fund's web site, get the price, and enter it manually. | Since Jan. 13, the Money 2004 version is NOT picking up mutual fund closing prices. It is truly annoying to have to look them up and manually enter them. Also, of concern is those poor users who rely on the valuations and do not even realize they aren't updating. We went through this same problem in late October, 2005 - but now it seems the problem is not fixed. Please advise if there is a work-around solution. Thanks. John S. Texas |
