If you updated the laptop copy this AM, and your partner updates the desktop copy in the PM, the PM copy will overwrite the AM copy and your changes will be lost. | I would fall into the "terrified" category of Dick's post! I, too, us a laptop with Money 2006 installed on both the desktop and laptop. I use the WinXP "Synchronize" capability to make sure the two copies stay matched. From your laptop, browse back to your desktop and right-click on the file your Money program is using. Select "Make Available Offline". Then choose "Tools, Synchronize... on your laptop and choose the options that are best for you. Be careful, there's a hard limit on the total number and size of files that can be 'synchronized' (it's in the GBytes). However, your Money file should be much smaller than this limit.
