That should launch Money, and start the restore. Do not accept the default location to restore to. Instead Browse to your My Documents folder, and say you want to name the file Docdean. Money will add the .mny extension automatically. Let the restore work. | Re: Error converting Money 05 to Money 06 Sadly, just because the file appears to "work fine" in M05 (or previous Money versions for that matter) has proven to be an unreliable indicator of whether or not it has some form of "corruption". Sometimes these corruptions manifest themselves when a future version fails to comprehend the data. Try looking in File|Repair Money File for the tools involved. The file still works fine in the 2005 version. I don't believe file repair was an option in the menu. Is there a separate program for file repair?
