The important thing you have to do is stop using the "Cash Withdrawal"
category, and use "Transfer:Cash" instead. When you have your Cash Account
set up, it will appear in the dropdown list. Then you can enter your
expenses directly in the Cash Account. You don't need to mess with splitting
the ATM transaction at all.

AccountList-> AddANewAccount. Select Other, Next.
Cash. Next.... and so on.

You might name the account Wallet or Pocket.

I don't know how to set up a cash account. I understand how to use splits
to itemize a specific ATM withdrawal.

Initially assign category of cash withdrawal
As you make expenses, use split to assign expenses to categories. As you
assign expenses, reduce amount to cash withdrawal.
Eventually you assign everything away from cash withdrawal.

You could set up a 'cash' account. When you make an ATM withdrawal, transfer
the money into this account. You can track spending from your withdrawn cash
through this.

Default Money 2006 question

I've just begun using Money 2006, and I have a question. I withdraw cash
from an ATM on a regular basis. How do I itemize the expenditures of the
withdrawn cash? Thanks.
