First, from the Account List, uncheck
SortAccountListBy-> HideClosedAccounts

If the account appears, right-click and clear AccountIsClosed.

If the account does not appear, find that MyMoney.m10 file and copy
it to Sherry.mny. Then open that file. Let Money 2006 re-convert.

If that does not fix it, get your latest MyMoney.mbf backup file
from the old machine. File-> Restore it. Do not accept the default
location for the restored file. Browse to your MyDocuments folder,
and select a new name for the file.

That account isn't showing up there - only "investments to watch" The name
at the top of the web page reflects the file that I converted over, but
nowhere does the account show up. So, I guess I gave you wrong info. The
account itself isn't there nor the transactions.

I suggest that you select
Tools-> Settings-> AccountSettings(global)-> DisplayAllAccountsIn...Advanced

From Account List, click the account. Note the drop-down list to the
right of the word View. Select All Transactions.

Yes, the account shows up, but no transactions. No way to set view...I hit
account register(view) and it says I first have to create a new account
before I can enter data. Tried repair - quick fix. Nothing.

Do accounts show up but transactions in the registers? If so, make
sure the View is set up to view all transactions in the register.

Confirm that the registers say Advanced Register in the upper-right
of the window.

Try File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair

YES - it did do a convert - the very first time I opened it. I forgot. I
have been fooling with this for a while now. But, no data shows up.

I did the .MNY money file (My money) and did file/open as you say. No
message about doing a file upgrade. Same result - it loads, but has no data.
No files with .M10 in My documents. Help!!!

Did you transfer backup files (.MBF extension) or, preferably, the Money
data files (extension .MNY)? If the latter, you need to do File|Open **not**
File|Restore. Did Money tell you about it needing to do a file upgrade? Are
there any files with a .M10 extension in your My Documents folder?

Default Restoring files in 2006 money

Help! I am using MS 2006 money loaded from Dell on my new computer. I saved
all my money files from my old computer and transferred into my documents (MS
2002 Money). When I go into 2006 and say restore files - it goes through the
motions, but never brings up the data in the file. At the top of the page,
it has the file name, but there is no data. I know the file has information
in it - 3333kb. The sample file works, but I cannot get my old money files
to come up. Please help, what do I need to do.
