| Maybe it's a shared delusion, but I do remember something that would ask you about reallocation. I don't think it was a popup during transaction entry, but it was a lot more automatic than the manual version in there now. The version I used the longest without upgrading was 2001, so it would be at least that far back, if it existed. There's an option in the budget to do that manually, but I don't recall that> here.... > Did MS Money ever pop up a "Do you wish to Reallocate?" when a > transactions was entered that caused the budgeted line to be overspent? > For example, if I enter a check register transaction for $105: > Food.....and my budget is only $100, would it immediately pop up a "Do you > wish to Reallocate?" option to reconcile the budget right at that point > of "budgetary violation" ? > Maybe it's the meds, but I think I recall that being in MS Money or in the > very least, I requested that feature when doing the MS Money 2004 & 2005 > beta testing. being an automatic popup during transaction entry. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| Maybe I remember this OR I wished for it, so I'm asking the Money Gurus here.... Did MS Money ever pop up a "Do you wish to Reallocate?" when a transactions was entered that caused the budgeted line to be overspent? For example, if I enter a check register transaction for $105: Food.....and my budget is only $100, would it immediately pop up a "Do you wish to Reallocate?" option to reconcile the budget right at that point of "budgetary violation" ? Maybe it's the meds, but I think I recall that being in MS Money or in the very least, I requested that feature when doing the MS Money 2004 & 2005 beta testing. Help? Glenn B.
