Default RE: Incorrect budget balances

I have seen the same problems. I am using Money 2006 Deluxe Trial Edition.
If my budget amounts can't be correct there's no point using the program.

I noticed the following odd behavior:
I go to the "Budget Summary" screen which shows the incorrect "Budgeted"
amount
I click on the incorrect category line.
I click the "Edit Item" button.
It asks which bill in this category do I want to edit.
There are two bills shown in a drop-down list that look identical but there
should only be one.
I select the first one and click "OK".
Nothing happens other than I return to the "Budget Summary" screen.
I "Edit Item" again but this time select the second of the identical Bill
descriptions.
I click "OK" and this time I go to the screen where I can edit the Bill
details.
To me, for some reason, there is a record somewhere of two bills for
identical amounts which leads to the double budgeted amount.

Anyone know how to clean up the Bills and/or Budget? I have gone through
the "Quick File Repair" with no change.

Default Incorrect budget balances

I use Money 2006 Premium edition.

My monthly budget report shows incorrect budget balances for the month. For
example, I set up the monthly budget amount as $160 for an expense item. But
the monthly budget report shows the budgeted amount for the month as $156.54.
For another expense item, I set up the monthly budget as $72, but the monthly
budget report shows $68. I tried using annual budget amounts. But still it
doesn't calculate the monthly budget amount correctly. What is going on? How
can I correct this?
