| The cash flow could be averaging out the income. If you change the cash flow settings (option on the left hand side of the cash flow display), there is an option for items to be averaged optimistically, pessimistically and by days/weeks/months. Have a play with those settings and see whether you can get the cash flow to display how you want it to. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://money.mvps.org/faq/default.aspx for tips and fixes for MS Money. | I've set up my budget, I get paid on the 1st and the 15th (give or take weekends/holidays), so I told Money I get paid XXXX amount twice a month. Ok, that's fine. Budget is all done and after Debt Reducution, I have $150 extra each month until the DRP is completed (April thank GOD). Now, under Forecast Cash Flow, everything looks good, except the Wages & Salary. I see my next transaction for the right amount. But the next day I see some odd amount for 376.95, then again on the 23rd, then again on the 30th, then again on the 1st. Now, this sums up to my paycheck amount. The problem is that this affects the forecast cash flow in an incorrect fashion, since the balance changes every few days when it clearly doesn't in real life. Any idea how to keep the real deposits in and prevent these odd misc. transactions? I right-clicked and went to hide transactions, but now the forecast plummets down into the red because I'm not getting any income, or so it would appear. TIA for any help you guys can give me! |
