I download quotes every morning and they update. I put this in after
this mornings download. Maybe I should wait until Tuesday morning and
see what happens.

I'm not coming up with much. Your transaction is before today, so it does
have a way to value the account in history--if for no other reason than the
Buy value. Yes, I'd suspect the 1/9 value is one computed from the Buy. I'd
still wonder if it knows how to get a quote for the symbol you defined with
the investment. I'm also wondering if it can download any quotes--do you
have a Watch account with any indices? Is it downloading quotes for these?

- Money Small Business 2004
- I just put in the quantity and total value. Money calculated the
price.
- 1/9/06
- No. There is the share price on 1/9/06, which is a date I manually
entered. I think that is the calculated price from above.
- Yes - the one from 1/9 but I think it is calculated.

In the portfolio, I click the box next to the fund. The buy/sell
transaction history is listed. It has one transaction - the initial
buy. If I click the "More Investment Data" then details, I see the
symbol is there. I type that symbol into the "Find Symbol" popup box
and it finds it. Seems as though Money fully recognizes the fund.

What version of Money? When you did the investment buy, what did you value
the investment unit/shares at? What is the date of the buy? Are you sure it
can get the fund price? If you look in the investment's price history is
there an entry there?

Default Why is retirement acct $0.00?

I have a 403b retirement account. As an example, it starts with $100
in the Cash Transaction section. The account value is $100. Then I
buy $100 of an investment and transfer the money from the contributions
account (cash transactions). Now when I look at the "Investment
Transactions" section, the account value is $0.00. Shouldn't it be
$100?

In the portfolio, I see the cost basis is $100 but the market value is
blank. I did a rollover from a 401k to 403b today (Saturday) in Money.
Then I updated stock prices. Could the value be zero b/c it hasn't
had a chance to get the fund price? I should still be able to get the
last closing price even though today is Saturday.

Thanks,
Brett
