I have a AAA MasterCard through MBNA. They provide on line access,
online pay options and downloads of statements in OFX format. been
that way for years.

If yours is through MBNA...given them a call. I don't recall how the
original registration began.

I have a AAA Visa card and have online access. The bank is BankOne and
Chase. What bank is your card through?

Why, in this day and age, does any credit card company not provide online
access? I've had an AAA MasterCard for years, but am about to retire it in
favor of another card, since I can't get online feeds for the AAA
MasterCard.

I guess there are always some dinosaurs out there, but given the competition
in credit card market, I'm dumbfounded that any card wouldn't provide online
access.

Am I missing something - or are they?

You are missing that the credit card providers by and large don't view
providing good electronic data interchange with consumers as a competitive
advantage. Apparently they can't make the business case. If the market were
driving them to do it, surely by now many more would have. These interfaces
have been supported in Quicken and Money for almost a decade.

Default Unsupported credit card - AAA; why?

Why, in this day and age, does any credit card company not provide online
access? I've had an AAA MasterCard for years, but am about to retire it in
favor of another card, since I can't get online feeds for the AAA MasterCard.

I guess there are always some dinosaurs out there, but given the competition
in credit card market, I'm dumbfounded that any card wouldn't provide online
access.
