While it is possible to buy online with download, it is best to buy> "at this store" which store do you mean? Is there a place to buy software > here? Sorry I'm new to this site. a CD. It simplifies things down the road if you have to reinstall. You can still use the free trial download first. You can have Money 2006 NOT uninstall your existing version if you pay attention during install, and each can be used one at a time while you try things out. If you make a copy of your Money file under a different name and let Money 2006 convert that copy, you will be able to switch back and forth more readily as you double-enter for a while. It is possible that a different USB flash drive will show up as a removable drive for your existing Money. I think that may be a function of the drivers. Money 2006 will by default make multiple backups with unique names. That is good. |

| Hi Steve, Thanks for the reply. I guess I will buy the latest version. When you say "at this store" which store do you mean? Is there a place to buy software here? Sorry I'm new to this site. | Hi John, Thanks for your response. Yes I can back up to the hard drive and then copy it over but I was hoping to find a way to back up directly to the usb memory stick. It's a bit of a hassle to copy the files to the hard drive and then drag them over to the memory stick. | Chris, Backup to the hard drive and then copy the backup file to your stick. Also, on the stick, I would recommend either creating day folders or renaming the stick files and keep copies of several days worth of backups. | Hi, I recently purchased a USB memory stick for my computer. However when I try to back up my Money 2002 data to it, it asks for a second disk. The Memory stick has more than enough room on it. I have more the 2 gigs of free space left. Yet the program keeps asking for a second disk. I am pointing the program to the correct drive. I was able to get the first back up to work but any subsequent backups ask for the second disk. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks in advance |
