Chris, I like the idea of stopping and restarting the online service, but it turns out to be unnecessary. I ran a quick file repair (under the File menu) and that solved my problem! (Sound of palm smacking forehead goes here ...) Thanks for your help. If you don't have any outstanding apays, consider disabling and reenabling online services for the bank. Beware that doing so may download electronic payees as new entries in the payee list, using the bank's description, not yours. They probably would be cosmetically undesirable, and cannot be merged to existing payees to which they correspond. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL

Chris, Sorry. This post doesn't make any sense without your post in front of it. In brief, the setting is for 60 days and the transaction I want to match is only a couple of weeks away. It is not flagged as returned or canceled or reconciled. Could it have something to do with the change in year? Has anyone seen this behavior? Other questions: is the intended match reconciled? does it have a E in the cleared (C) column, indicating it's already been matched to a transaction? -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL

Money 2006. I have a downloaded transaction in January that I want to match to an entry I had entered manually. I click the "Change" button, then the "Match this transaction to an item in my register" radio button. A list of transactions appears BUT the transaction I want to match it with is not listed. In fact, the only transactions listed are future transactions scheduled for February, 2006. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? How can I make my previously entered transactions appear in that match list? Thanks in advance. Jay
