You can restore to a different filename so as to not overwrite the file you have been working with. If you cannot resolve it otherwise, I would consider QIF export and restore to a new file. | Cal, I am also having problems viewing downloaded statements. I have done a quick and standard file repair. Nothing. If I try to delete the statements as you mentioned earlier, it gives me an error "This operation cannot be performed" (Event ID 34) - and recommends repairing the file. My banks are not third party. My "ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound " is checked. As for what kind of download I am using, not sure how to determine that. I think that's all the questions you previously asked. MY Invest ment transaction import just fine, but my Bank data and Amex is having the same problem posted here. Mainly want to post this so MS have more evidence of the bug in 2006 Delux. It sucks! | One more Thing MS support provided. If you have a back up file that was working fine (means before collapsed online files) you can downloaded the statement properly!! | Cal, I made the changes you suggested and nothing changed. I then deleted the unread statements from the account view (to the far right of the account name) and then attempted to re-download. Now nothing is being downloaded. I am using a direct connection with Wachovia, I believe using OFX. I am going to attempt to download a qif file next and see if that takes.. | At this time, I have removed 2006 and went back to 2005, and I'm not having any problems. I still am wondering if it's a problem with the downloaded data from the bank, and when I get some time to troubleshoot, I will call the bank's support number and start there. |
