Money's budget is monthly and annual. It doesn't matter that you get paid
every two weeks. I do, too. It averages out. If you're trying to allocate
certain paychecks to certain expenses, that's cash flow, not budget. If your
budget is set up correctly, and you've scheduled expected paychecks and
bills, your cash flow forecast will be valid and useful for what you're
asking.

D Fisher.

I have the same exact problem. Can't believe Money hasn't corrected this
because I've got to believe many, many people get paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Does anyone else have any suggestions??

Money 2006 hasn't changed this.

Default Bi-weekly budget vs monthly

I have been using Money 2003 for 3 years now, and I just lost downloading
capabilities for my mutual funds/stocks, so I am thinking of upgrading to
Money 2006. One pet peeve I had with 2003 was budgeting for a 4 week (28
day) period as opposed to one month. Can you accomplish this in Money 2006?

For example, since my wife and I both get paid on a biweekly basis, I run a
a 28 day budget, not a monthly budget. This means that a new budget period
will usually start in the middle of a month, not at the beginning. It is no
problem to enter pay dates, grocery expenses every 2 weeks, etc. But when I
view 'My current budget status' it will still treat my budget as a monthly
one, giving inaccurate results.

Has Money 2006 fixed this?

Thanks for your help.
