I've just noticed that some updates are now going through correctly (Money
2004) but others are being shown at 1/100th of their real price. Is this
still part of the same problem

MS seems to have sorted out the problem. I have just successfully updated
my Canadian mutual fund prices (using Money 2000 Canadian edition).

I don't understand why all that data is missing. My suspicion is that
there is a problem between MSN and Morningstar (supplier of the quote
data).

This is getting to be quite frustrating as I am now updating my numbers
manually (directly from Morningstar). This morning I almost fell of my
chair when I saw that my Net Worth was negative and all my holdings
were $0!!!!

Thanks.... Mine is a non-US (Canadian) edition.. I guess something is
happening because today I just tried to update to see if any change in the
prices. They all changed to zero. I'm sure that is slight
progress even though it looks like I lost everything on paper. ;-)

There is a problem with those non-US fund quotes not updating.
Microsoft is looking into that.

Yes, I contacted Microsoft Support yesterday as I have multiple times in the
past few years over this same issue. I am running Money 2006 Deluxe and also
use the online MSN Money sites to track my Canadian Mutual Funds.

When I contact support I never get anything more than references to
knowkedge database articles that don't do anything to help the issue.
Then in a few days it starts to work again. Arrrrrggggggghhhhhhh!!!

suggestion worked for anyone? Microsoft should put on their packages that
every Jan 1st - one must go through hoops to get it working again (if one

I have MS Money 2006 and it has not updated mutual funds since 30, Dec
2005 either. It is updating Stocks however. Anyone know when this
might be sorted out / contacted Microsoft?

In the UK there is an issue with our fuinds not downloading since the start
of the year. Not sure whether this is a wider problem, but has been reported
locally.

My money 2006 Small Business's last update data were Dec.29, I didn't get
any update for my Canadian Funds either although the auto update feature
shows that it is working everyday, but just nothing been downloaded.

Default Money 2005 not updating

Hi,
I'm currently using MS Money 2005 Canada and noticed that my last update
for my mutual funds took place on Dec 30. Nothing in 2006 at all.

It just stopped updating in 2006.

Is this a new "feature" where we have to buy the 2006 version in order to
update our mutuals.
