Customize link, then Reset. It should show up. This will reset everything
back to default, which may not be want you want. But it should resolve the
category issue. From there you can readjust your other customizations.

My advise assumes the category was somehow excluded from the report.

I use Microsoft Money Small Business 2004.

I have created new sub-category Frenchise Tax under Business Taxes with
supplying all requested information. like inclusion in Schedule C ,
type of Expence (Business )

I have assigned this category (Business Taxes : Franchise Tax ) to a
transaction entry in my register.

I run the reports-> Business -> Profit and Loss statement, This entry
does not show up in the report. However , when i assign this to other
previously existed category like Federal Taxes , it does show up in
report.
Also, When I look up in category Screen, the trasaction indeed shows up
here under "Business Taxes : Franchise Tax".

Can you explain it why?

Newly created category is supplied with appropriate Schedule C
information. I looked up the settings in category screen for both
"Frenchise Tax" & "Federal Taxes " , they are all same..

So wondering why this is happening.

Can you please help me resolve this problem.
