Browse to a spot and specify a DIFFERENT filename. Then while viewing the register of the problem account, look at the PDF file. Find where the difference in the Balance starts, and you have located the problem transaction. If you have the old .mny file, better still would be to File-> Open that file. |

| Probably, but I'm at a loss as to what. Let's get to a case we can both understand. What kind of Money file do you have? (Money Backup, Money data file, multi-part Money backups (names include D1, D2, etc) etc) What type of media is it on? (CD-ROM, floppy, multiple floppies, My Documents on hard disk, etc) How did it get there? (written directly there by Money, copied there from a file on the old computer, copied from a CD-ROM written on old computer, etc) What version of Money was it written with? Are you sure? Why are you so sure? What version of Money are you trying to get to use it? Does that version work with its own Sample data file? Does that version create a File|New in the directory you want to use? If the target version is M05, have you done an Internet Update since installation? Are you sure both of these versions are for the same localization (I.e., Money for US or Money for UK but not crossing over.)
