| I moved to Wells Fargo from BOFA 5 years ago. After numerous conversations, they said they had no plans to support "direct" communication with MONEY. After the last five years with Wells Fargo, I have never regretted it. WF has been there for my every need. | That will be changing as BofA merges the Washington IT operations into the rest of the company. | This aggravates me a bit, too. I spoke with them and say they will SOMEDAY support it, but there is no date expected. | Actually, Bank of America in Washington is just the opposite - it supports Money for Active Statement (OFX), but only QIF for Quicken. -- Regards, Kim Renna Microsoft MVP - Consumer Products I will no longer respond to direct email unless I have requested it. Please post to the newsgroups so that others may benefit from your questions. The MVP program does not constitute employment or contractual obligation with Microsoft Corporation. | Yeah, I open Money and connect to BOA and download the Money file, it works pretty well. NationsBank(BOA) used to use MYmoney that was great. They got rid of MYmoney becasue customer had to pay $5.95 a month for MYM and $7.00 BOA fee, wasn't very inticing to get people to use online banking! - quote - > -----Original Message----- > I use BOA and you can download a qif or ofc file and it imports directly > into Money though it's not as nice as a direct download. | I use BOA and you can download a qif or ofc file and it imports directly into Money though it's not as nice as a direct download. Also, there are institutions that only support Money and not Quicken. I would suspect that BOA will come around to supporting Money someday. | I've used Quicken for a while and am using Quicken2003. I've just gave the new MS-Money2004 trial version a try and I like it better, so I was going to switch...... Until I discovered that Bank of America does not support MS-Money, only Quicken. That sounds crazy to me, but apparently this is the case. If I want to switch from Quicken to MS-Money I will loose the ability to download bank transactions automatically and must use the old fashioned manual download statement method. Does anyone know why a bank as large as Bank America doesn't support MS-Money? Does anyone know if they will anytime soon? Thank you! |
