If things don't work this way, confirm that on the right side of the bar that starts with "Reports Home" on the left says "Advanced Reports" on the right. If it does not, click ChangeReportSettings on the left and switch to Advanced. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote in message > news:9tlbr1pskf3n4rjs7l1mmc8pu3os8dfdau[at]4ax.com... > > In microsoft.public.money, marvo wrote: > > > > When I click apply it saves the changes under the old report > > > name. > > > You can change the name at that point if you like. | Carl: Thanks for the help but I guess I am a little slow. I went into my report ( 2005 report 1) & clicked on customize. I then changed the date from 1/1/2005 to 1/1/2006. I also changed the name to 2006 report 1. The only things I could click on was ok/cancel/apply/reset. I clicked on apply & ok. The name on the report stayed as 2005 report 1. I was not given the option to AddToMyFavoriteReports as a new report. I must be screwing up with my fat fingers. | When I click apply it saves the changes under the old report name. I want to save the changes under a new name & keep the original report. Clicking Apply or OK should cause changes to be saved. Click Reset> When I change the date on the old report it does not ask me if I want > to save it. Any ideas. Thanks in advance to get a given report to its original settings. In Money 2006, click AddToMyFavoriteReports, and choose a descriptive name. Thereafter, access that report with Favorites-> FavoriteReports. |

| How can I generate a new report in Money 2004. It seems that the only way to do it is modify a old report but I want to keep they old report. I want to generate a new report for 2006 but keep the old 2005 report. When I change the date on the old report it does not ask me if I want to save it. Any ideas. Thanks in advance |
