Dick understood that. He was suggesting that you File-> Open the .mny
file instead of restoring a backup, since that .mny file would
probably be newer.

If you want to File-> Restore the backup file, but NOT to the default
file name. Browse to a spot and specify a DIFFERENT filename.

I tried restoring my 05 file with 06 and the pathname was invalid.

Why not just open your M05 data file???

Default Invalid Path Name when I upgraded from 2005 to 2006?

This is so frustrating! I just bought Money 2006 and when I tried to restore
my money backup it said that the Path Name was Invalid. Any ideas?

I have a lot of info (9 years) at stake here!
