Default Re: stock options in Money 2006 Canadian

Thank you for your prompt response.

I've figured out the work-arounds for all the options-specifiec transaction
types, from using previous versions. I was hoping that it was finally
implemented.

It is not included in the Canadian version.

Instead, create them as stocks. For a sell to open, enter a Sell
short.

For an expiration, do a Sell or a Cover Short for $0. An exercise is
more complex, and you would need to know the tax treatment to come
up with the best way for that.

Note that listed options symbols are preceded by a period.

Default stock options in Money 2006 Canadian

I've recently installed Money 2006 Canadian. The documentation indicates that
stock and equity options are supported, but I haven't been able to figure out
how to enter them. For a new investment, the Investment Type list doesn't
include stock options (other than employee stock options), and if I enter
them as stocks, the transaction type list does not include the
option-specific types (i.e. buy to open, sell to close, exercise, etc). Am I
missing something, or is this feature not included in the Canadian version?
