| Besides all of what Bob said, Microsoft would have to a) know about this, b) consider it a defect that is significant and pervasive in impact to users, c) feel like fixing it. There are many far worse things in Money that are obviously defects affecting most users that have persisted for many versions. I wouldn't hold my breath on this one, but YMMV. Based on evidence here very few users use the FFM features. BTW, I don't know what currency you are spending three hundreds of on Money, but if it's USD you are spending more than an order of magnitude too much. | I did say "almost never"! M2005 was the exception. The off-the-shelf product had a major bug and in order to fix it they had to issue a patch that meant versions prior to the patch couldn't read files produced by post patch versions. AFAIK MS haven't changed the Frequent Flyer code ever since it was first issued but am happy to be proved wrong. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | Thanks. But I found out that I need to update the Money 2005 everytime I reinstalled my computer. That means it downloads new update from the web, doesn't it? Anyway, I am very disappointed that such a silly mistake exists in Money, a product over a decade (I've been using it since 3.0). Why would they let that happen? I don't want to upgrade the program again anymore in the next 5 years. It isn't worth the money. | MS almost never issue patches during the life of the product/year. M2005 has been out since mid-2004 so is getting on for 18 months old. Similarly M2006 has been out for some 4 months, so even if MS deemed this a serious bug they would fix it in the next version. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | Hi all, I just found a bug in the "Frequent Flyer Point or Miles" report. The sorting of "Total miles/points available" is incorrect. It does not sort by value but by characters. For example, it gives me a sorted list of: (693) 1,956 10,284 21,136 3,056 3,279 3,365 686 Will Microsoft fix that and give us an update? I just bought Money 2005 for not long and don't want to spend another three hundreds on 2006 now. John |
