You should then be able to login into money. I have logged in this way a few times when for some reason my network card wasn't working and I had no access to the internet and successfully logged in. You can then export all your data to a import file. Create a new passport account and you don't have to use a hotmail email address either by the way. Then log into money with your new passport account and import your data. |

I see the link I posted before does not apply to an MSN passport.> "free" MSN Premium that came with my ISP (Verizon). Having dumped the ISP, > they won't release the MSN account. You could remove the passport after disabling background banking. Then you could add another. Or if you are not using the features of having a Passport on your file, you could just leave the Passport off. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;899631 http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;823367 http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;313366 |

| I was forced to change my Passport. I had associated my old one with the "free" MSN Premium that came with my ISP (Verizon). Having dumped the ISP, they won't release the MSN account. Ergo, I can't use it. Some of the Passport-related posts touch on this, but none that I saw address it directly. Can I change Passports, or will I need to start a new *.mny file?
