First, if possible, I would delete the older transactions rather
than the newly-downloaded ones.

If that is too difficult, I would Void (rather than delete) the
newer ones. You can sort by order of entry to make that easier.

OFX files have a transaction ID. This ID should always be the same
when you download that same transaction. Money uses that to know if
the transaction has been seen already.

If your bank changes the transaction ID each time, then there is no
solution. If they started over at some point, I think the problem
should be a one-time thing. If you File-> Import that same OFX file
again, without having deleted the new transactions from downloading
it before, you should find there are no additional transactions
added.

If you download a new OFX later, the bank should keep the
transaction ID consistent. The transactions you already downloaded
should then be ignored.

Default Duplicate transactions

I have the same problem of MS Money making duplicate transactions when
downloading from the bank. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? It's a
pain to have to go through the whole register deleting individual
transactions. This problem did not appear until I upgraded from MSN 2000. to
2004.
