Budget Problem with old account

I went to the Details page and when you check off that it is a Closed
Account, the 'Include this account in the budget planner' is already
unchecked. So, I unchecked the Closed Account and checked and unchecked the
'Include this account in the budget planner' and then closed it again. And
it worked! That item is no longer on my budget.

Don't ask me - it's Microsoft.

In the left pane of the account register page, select 'Change account
settings'. On the resulting page, change 'Include this account in the budget
planner'.

I'm not certain that will help, but it may.

Okay, it is a closed account and has been for quite a while. How do you
'remove an account' from a budget?

It's a bug. Deleting some bill/deposit/transfer models from the Bills list
sometimes results in a vestige of the bill remaining in the budget. If the
bill were income or an expense, there's a workaround involving creating new
categories, editing existing transactions, and removing the old category
from your budget. But because the transaction is a transfer, I don't know
what to suggest, other than removing the account from the budget. That's
probably not practical.

And selecting Edit doesn't bring the transaction up. It does nothing.
