But to answer the initial question, you can use the US 2006 edition with a
base currency of GB Pounds.

All versions of Money are heavily regionalised so the US version refers to
things like 401K, and in the trivial area spells cheque the wrong way. All
the Banks listed will be US ones and you won't be able to add UK ones.

Also your existing file cannot be directly read by the US version.

The date format is actually taken from Control Panel but that would be the
least of your worries!
