| Well, the reconciled thing did not work. Should have posted that I had tried that already. I will try the date range thing which is pretty much what I was looking for. I will not be able to let you know if it works until after the first since that is when there will be new transactions. I will let you know. Thanks for the quick response though "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Bill wrote: > > I have Money 2005 on Win XP pro. Tools-> Setting-> OnlineServices-> MatchTransactionsWithA___DayRange You could also try marking the old transactions as reconciled. I am not getting what you are seeing in Money 2006, and I don't remember the problem in Money 2005. So I am not able to readily test. But I would suggest you try it for the cash transactions first. You could do that by the Balancing procedure. You could also just mark all entries balanced. Select to show only unreconciled transactions. Sort by date, and go to the oldest transaction. Hold down Cntl+Shift+M and let auto-repeat work thru the transactions until none are left showing. For the investment transactions, there is no easy procedure, and I doubt it would have an effect anyway. But I don't know. Let us know what you learn. |

| I have Money 2005 on Win XP pro. I use downloaded transactions along with manual entry transactions except for my 401K which only uses downloaded transactions. Twice a month (on payday) I automatically make several 401K purchases (20 of them). When Money downloads them I go in to accept them and for every single tranaction it asks me if some past transaction is the same. ex. transaction dated 12/15/2005 purchase 10 shares of stable value at 10 dollars per share for a total of 100 dollars. Then money asks if this transaction is the same as some other transaction where the only thing that is the same is the type of stock. in other words the date, price, number of shares and total are all different. It does this 12 times for each transaction so... 20 transactions have to click no 12 times means I have to click no 240 times each payday. Is there any way to make money not try to match tranactions for this account only? |
