Default Re: Budget Time period change

That may make sense... I imported inaccurate data for the first few
months just get some some things in there... The past 4 or so months
I have put in very detailed accurate information. I wish there was a
way to change the period of time it auto-figures the budgeted amount.
It is really flawed because it is telling me I have over-budgeted for
groceries, when in fact I am right in the neighborhood. It does thins
on a few of my items. I was thinking it would fix itself when I get a
few months of data in the system, but it is still messed up. Even
having a selectable period like the reports section would be very
helpful. As it sits it's virtually worthless.

I think the answer is Negative. But I'm thinking--haven't tried the
case--that it may average over the amount of time for which data is
available.

Default Budget Time period change

In the budget section of MS Money it averages the budget from the past
year automatically. Is there a way to change the time period to 3
months, or 6 months? When I installed MS Money several months ago I
imported data from the March to April time frame, but not enough
accurate data to go back one year, the time from used in budget
estimates.

So... Any way to change this? I've looked and can not find an
adjustment for this setting.

Thanks!

Mike
