| I don't think that's what he means to be saying. All versions of Money are localized. The tax models are fixed for the locale targeted. The International locale version might have customizable tax models--but I doubt it. There is also no International M06. The US version's tax models (M** versions) are not modifiable to, say, some other country's tax schemes. | Thanks for the answer. I am talking, however, only about customizing the way money calculates tax-related numbers and such. So you are saying this is possible with previous versions? -- Dmitry Korolyov [d__k[at]removethispart.mail.ru] MVP: Windows Server - Directory Services "Bob Peel, MVP" <bob_peel[at]NO SPAM.kiandra.freeserve.co.uk> wrote in message news:%239SU2wn$FHA.2736[at]TK2MSFTNGP11.phx.gbl... - quote - > Normally MS produce non-US versions such as UK, French & International. > However they have not done so for 2006. | Normally MS produce non-US versions such as UK, French & International. However they have not done so for 2006. See http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/220.aspx . One can only speculate that not enough people are buying non-US versions to make it cost effective to localise. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. | Is there any way to configure tax policy that Money 2006 uses to something else then US tax system? Or this product is US-only by design and this is not going to be changed? If the anwer to the second question is "yes", then can you recommend some other, more flexible product, with generally the same features? -- Dmitry Korolyov [d__k[at]removethispart.mail.ru] MVP: Windows Server - Directory Services |
