Personally, I ignore the FDRXX buys and sells. I record the FDRXX dividends
as cash deposits into the cash account.

Your choices would be to either enter the sells yourself, or to void
the Buys. If you choose the latter, let your cash balance represent
the MMF. Fidelity has some quirks on their OFX downloads, and this
would be a workaround.

Default FDRXX

Hey folks-

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find it with a search
of the newsgroup.

I'm trying to use Money 2005 to manage my Fidelity investments.

Whenever I deposit funds to my core account, they're always converted
into shares of FDRXX, the cash reserve MMF. When I purchase shares of a
separate equity, the number of share I have in FDRXX are reduced by the
cost of the equity purchase.

But in Money 2005 when I download my transactions from Fidelity, the
funds are deposited as a 'Buy' into the FDRXX security, but a 'Sell'
doesn't happen when I purchase the second security.

I'm guessing that this is just a problem with the OFX files that
Fidelity is sending, but is there a work around in Mny 2005 so that I
don't have to enter the 'Sell's myself?

Thanks!
