I just finished a support session regarding this as everyone would be> problem too. having this same problem with 06. It's a real PITA. There is no fix for this other than not signing in with passport credentials and just use a regular password to protect the money file if you want to. This is what I was told, and the CSR said he would send this problem to the Money crew. If you go this way you will lose the ability to have automatic updates for your accounts, but you will be able to manually update those that are not with Yodlee service. We didn't have this problem with older versions like 02, but the newer versions of Money use the same server logon and it has to log you in and out again. I asked if two different passports could be created with two different email addys and the answer was that there would be errors, although I haven't tried it. It wasn't a big deal for me as I never keep my accounts on the Money server and now just hit the update button when I want it to update the credit card accounts that have the download feature. Still, not a fix and they should address this. Joan |

| This was a problem in Money 2005 as well, and I second the question. Why is there no option in Money to not sign out of Passport services? This is very irritating. | I've found that whenever I use Money 2006, once I get out of it and then bring up IE to go to My MSN, that My MSN can no longer remember my password. In fact, it gets my username wrong, too. Why does Money 2006 clear that from IE's cookie collection? Rod |
