| I just installed Money 2006 and I am having the same difficulty getting my BofA visa information. I keep getting this message: "Online updates from this bank or brokerage were not successful. MSN Money receives updated information from banks and brokerages each night. Please try again tomorrow." I also can't access (with Money) my Home Depot account and my Chevron account. This is getting frustrating. rikmar67 wrote: - quote - > "they" being BofA - of course MS wouldn't have done this. I was just being > facetious. | "they" being BofA - of course MS wouldn't have done this. I was just being facetious. I'll keep trying to update the information periodically over the next couple of days. I'm sure its something with BofA that needs to be resolved. But if there are still problems then I'll post again and maybe we can look into it further? | Yes, BofA has added a new security feature to their website which you must accept and set up. Then you have to go through Money and setup your online services again for this account. However, once doing so I have not problem accessing my account from the BofA website. But I still cannot get Money 2006 to setup the online services for the account. It continues to come back and say that it cannot update your account and to try again. Then it says that the bank has updated their service offerings and to click here - which takes you through the online setup again, which continues to fail. Seems to me like they disabled your online services rather than updated them. I don't know any details, but here is some speculation: if they> After disconnecting and reconnecting in Money 2006, the checking accounts > seem to be updating and have the correct bank balance but none of the > transactions since Dec 2 are marked with an "E" even though they have > cleared the bank. don't mark it E, then I would expect matching algorithms will be looking to match that transaction against later downloads. It may be an attempt to work around a problem of duplication of transactions. Again, I am not saying that is what is happening. - quote - > When I attempt to set up BofA credit cards and I click on "Provide sign-in
BoFA downloads are being worked on.> information", Money 2006 bring up the MSN Bill Pay login screen. > Is this still being debugged or have I missed something? Bank of America (WA, ID) made a recent change (probably Sunday night) on their web-site which requires the customer to accept something. That causes a problem with those, but yours is a different thing. |

| I am attempting to re-establish automatic updates to my BofA accounts. After disconnecting and reconnecting in Money 2006, the checking accounts seem to be updating and have the correct bank balance but none of the transactions since Dec 2 are marked with an "E" even though they have cleared the bank. When I attempt to set up BofA credit cards and I click on "Provide sign-in information", Money 2006 bring up the MSN Bill Pay login screen. Is this still being debugged or have I missed something? |
