You're welcome.

For the record, what I did is right click one of my investments from the
Portfolio view; then select "online research" and "quotes". I did this from
the Portfolio tab and not from the individual investment list.

This took me to msnmoney where I noted that the format was US:xxx

Then I guessed that AU might be for Australia, and it seemed to work.

Parenthetically, I find it "interesting" and an indication of the lack of
proper management in the development of this program that if I select the same
option from an individual investment's page (e.g. the price history, or
analysis, or activities page) that only the symbol and not the country code
gets passed to moneycentral.msn.com.

I do not believe this inconsistent behavior is documented any place, nor can I
think of a good functional reason for it.

I am using Money 2003. Perhaps this has changed in subsequent versions.

Maybe if you prefix the symbol with AU: to specify the Australian exchange?

AU:AMP when used at moneycentral.msn.com returns a company called AMP Limited
from the Sydney exchange which last traded at 7.63AUD

Default Update Investments...

From reading threads so far I don't think its possible BUT - i live in
Australia and there are no banks associated with Microsoft Money so I'm
thinking its predominantly a US thing... With investments & updating them
my shares are replaced by the US equivalent or advised symbol not found - is
there any way of overcoming this or is the software only configured for US
use?

AMP retrieves details for Ameriprise, not AMP Australia - any suggestions or
a lost cause?

Look forward to any help...
