installation of Pocket Money for Money 2003 on the desktop.

2. Go through the normal install routine, following the prompts on the
desktop machine.

3. When the PPC pops up an error message, don't clear it. Instead,

4. Using File Explorer on the PPC, find the sa1100 cab file.

5. When you find the file, choose copy.

6. Still using File Explorer on the PPC, browse to "My Device /Temp"
and paste the file in this new folder.

7. Once the file appears in this new folder, single tap the file. The
installation will begin on its own.

8. Close the error message from the original installation.

9. Remove the PPC from the cradle. Check the settings for the Money
Conduit in ActiveSync, place the PPC back into the cradle, and away
you go.

10. The exe file is placed in the PPC's windows directory by the
installation, find it, choose copy and then paste a shortcut to
"/Windows/Start Menu/Programs" and rename it "Microsoft Money".

Money 2004 on the desktop. I did try to download a copy of
v 2006 for the pocketpc to see if it would work any better, but
it balked cuz I didn't have the 2006 software on the PC. Was
wondering if the 2006 version would work better on the v5
device before I purchased the upgrade.

For further clarification of what's happening -
v2004 of Pocket Money installs ok, but with a message on the
screen that it may not work properly because it was designed
for a previous version of Windows Mobile. When I redock
the device, I get a window showing it's attempting to read the
databases, and it just sits there.
