I believe you are correct.> into the unwanted bank account? If it's your Mom's account and you have power of attorney, must it be linked to your SON? I'm not sure if that would make a difference in this case, but you might inquire. |

| I have a bank account which is downloaded into Money 2006. I also have a power of attorney on my mother's bank account which is linked to my Social Security number by the same financial institution that holds both accounts. When I set up Money to download the bank account information, it automatically downloads data from both accounts (probably because both accounts are linked by the financial institution by my Social Security number). Money won't let you delete the one account without deleting both accounts since they are with the same bank. You can go in and close the unwanted account, but Money continues to download information into the account which then shows up in my financial reports. Any help would be appreciated. -- Tom |
