Export each account that you want to merge from the other account (the least complex). Use loose qif. Import the files all at once into the now-shared account. Use Cntl-click to select files for the single import. |

Yes, that is easy, just run setup and point it to the old backup file.> File-> Open the other file. It will convert. Switch between files > with the MRU (most recently used) list at the bottom of the File > menu. - quote - > Merging the files is more complex. That would involve QIF export
This is what I'm talking about. I want to merge all the records from both> from the simpler file, and import all at once into the other. programs to "Money 2006 Bus." I am just unsure where to start.. If I export twice, won't the second time blank out the 1st export? If so, how do you combine it before exporting? Thank you for your time thus far! Doug |

Switch between files with the MRU (most recently used) list at the bottom of the File menu. Merging the files is more complex. That would involve QIF export from the simpler file, and import all at once into the other. |

| Hi, I have a small business and am running the "Money 2003 Small Business" and I have on another computer "Money 2004 Deluxe" for my personal. I will be getting the "Money 2006 Small Business" and wanted to know if there's a way to merge all the records into the one program (Money 2006 Bus.), without losing data?? It would just make things so much easier to goto one program for all of my records.... and maintain all of my years worth of data from one program. Thanks to all that reply! Doug |
