| kes, Sorry to hear nothing seems to help. I don't think you can try with a new file since (I believe) the Billpay change won't allow new bill pay accounts to sync with Money but, maybe an upgrade to 2005 or 2006 might work. Unfortunately, that would mean not only the cost but also the major changes that come with these versions. Was wondering if the 2006 trial allowed Billpay accounts. If so, you could try opening your file in 2006 trial and see if you can connect. Don't lose your 2004 backups! If you want to try the trial, go to: http://www.microsoft.com/money/freetrial_info.mspx Regards, JB kes wrote: - quote - > Thanks for the suggestions, but unfortunately, this did not work either. | Thanks for the suggestions, but unfortunately, this did not work either. I have not changed anything else with my computer, such as with my firewall. Just to be sure, though, I tried disabling my firewall and antivirus programs, still without luck. It's really frustrating, and I'm on the verge of giving up and switching to something else! | I don't use Money (or Billpay or anything else along with Money). I use MoneyCentral web. I was trying to point out there is a much deeper problem right now. | I followed the recent email instructions regarding changing my Billpay password. I can sign in to MSN Billpay on the web without any problem, but Money 2004 will not accept that password to access Billpay from within the software. I keep getting an error message that the password is incorrect when I know it's not. Things worked fine before this upgrade to Billpay. I've been on the phone and email with four different support reps to no avail and I've searched these posts. Any ideas? |
