| I assume that you are searching in all files (including hidden and system). I also assume that your original .mny file was not stored on a CD and that you weren't working off a CD. I also use Money but have never had what you describe happen so I don't think I can be of help there. Make sure you make a backup of your backup in case it goes poof again. | I forgot that I did have the backup saving to a different drive ... so I do have a backup .... wwwwhew ... now I need to find out the reason the file disappeared. Any ideas? | Don't know about the downloading part but MS Money defaults to making a backup file unless you turned the feature off. If no backup exists, I don't believe I'd start a new file (or download one if that's possible) without finding out why the first file went poof. *** "AnthonyWinker" <AnthonyWinker[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9728E152-5D03-433D-9C4C-8145FC27D78A[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > I have no idea where the file could have gone, but it no longer exists on > my > computer. | I have no idea where the file could have gone, but it no longer exists on my computer. I have ran several different searches including the *.mny search that I have seen listed previously and the file is just not on my computer any longer. It is also not in the recycle bin. I have no idea if there is some type of virus that could have caused this or not, but I have lost everything as I did not have a backup. However, I can access the data via MSN Money and the information is from the last time I closed the file that is no longer there. Is there anyway to download the information from MSN Money? |
