The price history shows this price change. I guess I'll leave this alone as there is no benefit to switching the fund type. -- Aloke --- to reply by e-mail remove 123 and change invalid to com |

However since your holding is in a retirement account, it would not get to schedule D anyway. So the biggest advantage is that the price could let you track the value changes by manually changing the per-share price. Otherwise, leaving the fund classified as a MM should work fine. |

MM Funds can have a value other than 1.00. What advantage will there be in changing the type to mutual fund? Let's suppose you choose zzzz. Create a new investment with the correct type, name and symbol. Go back to investment zzzz and choose View: Investment Details. Change each transaction to the investment using the drop-down list. Keep going until there are no more zzzz transactions remaining. At that point you can "delete" zzzz. With Money 2003 or 2004 , if you delete all transactions for zzzz (including watch accounts) and delete the investment, it will be deleted. You can use that name again. |

| My retirement plan (TSP for Govt employees) used a system of providing quarterly valuations. I handled this by creating an investment called CFund which I declared to be a money market type, with it's share value always at 1.00. Now TSP is doing daily valuation, with the CFund being treated like a mutual fund (it is indexed to S&P500). How do I change the "CFund" that I had set to be a MM fund to be a "regular" mutual fund? Thanks. -- Aloke --- to reply by e-mail remove 123 and change invalid to com |
