Default Re: MM 2006 crashes the computer

I did a repair using the Recovery Console from my Windows XP installation
disk. Seems to have stopped the blue screen crashes with MS Money 2006.

Thanks for your help.

Just installed Office 2003 update awhile ago, but really had no problems
until Money was installed. No new hardware of any kind. Any other
suggestions? I will review the link you sent.

Thanks,

Ouch. I was hoping for something that might point to a software
module. ;-)

Searching, I find people stating that such errors are often hardware
related.

While it may well be related to the Money install, have you made any
other changes lately?

OK, it just crashed again. Here is the error message on the blue screen, as
it begins dumping the memory:

STOP: 0x0000008E (0x0000090, 0x2ECCA669, 0xF78D6E5C, 0x00000000)

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Default MM 2006 crashes the computer

I recently installed MM 2006 premium, and now it fairly frequently crashes
the computer to a blue screen. Microsoft said to repair the .mny file and
also to try the sample.mny file. Everything seems to cause this now. Any
advice?

Thanks,
