| Don't apologize. This has always seemed like a pretty cryptic place to put this. Why isn't there a separate details screen like there is for all other accounts? Glad I could help. Thanks for the feedback. | Thanks Dick...this was the answer. I'm a little embarrassed...I'd already visited this screen but didn't scroll down far enough to see this. Thanks again! | You just want to rename the Investment Cash Account? Go to the Investment Account Settings. There's a text box there for Cash Portion Account Name. | About a year ago one of the financial institutions from my investment portfolio changed something at the home office that resulted in new account numbers in all 6 of my accounts. At the time I was using Money 2005, although am now using Money 2006 Deluxe. Anyway, I changed the account number in Money and everything kept working just as it always did (account downloads, stock quotes, etc). This morning I was looking more closely at the associated cash account for each of my 6 investment accounts, and realized their account numbers still show the old account number, even though they are correctly linked to the right investment account. I have looked all over the MS support site and can't figure out how to change the cash account name..can anyone help? |
