Money 2004 and trial version of 2006

But that US centric functionality has been in the CDN version since 2003 if
not earlier. No such things as RRSPs, GICs and so on. If you have managed
to work around that then it will work fine.

It should work. I have Money 2003 Canadian, downloaded the Money 2006
Deluxe version and it converted the 2003 file fine, even retaining my
Windows settings as CDN. I know with a Money 2000 CDN file you need to run
it through a later version such as 2003 to be able to get it work with 2006
Deluxe.

In addition to the things Dick said, the Deluxe trial does not have
a Canadian mode, and it will not be able to convert your existing
file. It could give you a flavor of the interface and appearance,
but it would take Canadian/standard Money 2006 to read your existing
Money file.

Yes, provided you put it in a separate directory--watch carefully for this
choice during the install--and read and heed the notes about how it will
upgrade any existing data files you open with it.

You may end up reinstalling M04 if you subsequently uninstall M06. The
reason for this is to reestablish all of the file type associations that M06
will have taken over for itself. You can put these back by hand also, if you
know how to do that and know what M04 had before you installed M06.
