Not really a moot point... if I have to re-download it after a major
corruption withing a short period of time after I install it, and by
modem, as well! You should have a good idea as to the time involved,
the bad connections we have out here with the coyotes, and my ISP
cutting me off half way through.

But I respect you, and I respect your advice and I will buy one if the
trial goes south. Only thing, I'm a senior on a minimum income and I
have to depend on saving up the money for it, starting now!

I downloaded the Deluxe 2006 Trial, (using a MODEM)!!!, and it took
over my 2004 beautifully, without a hitch. Now, knowing how things go
with my rebellious PC, I would like a second copy somewhere in
reserve, as a backup.

I never had larceny in my heart, it's not my style; in fact, I'm too
scruplous for my own good. All I want is a back-up copy just in case.
Any ideas? I tried another partition, and I tried my zip drive and I
tried burning a CD copy! No luck. I cpould try downloading a second
time but who knows if it will .exe?


Any ideas? It may be 'illegal', but I know if I get to do it, it will
not be illegal as I'll NEVER share it with anyone.
