Buying Money 2005 in Australia would not have required any of that.
Unfortunately Money 2006 was not made for Australia.

Cal

It works - however I now have almost 30'000 transfers from CHF into USD and
vice versa that I have to correct manually.

I consider taking all my vacation to consolidate the statements :-)

Obviously this 59.99 USD "Deluxe" product can become very expensive if you
are working in a global environment.

I wonder if the solution in this KB article would help, even tho the
symptom differs:

Now ok: Money 2002 lets me write the QIX export file, but import into 2006
fails since I have transfers between various currencies.

How do I fix this? I can perfectly assign all the accounts within Money 2006
when the import function requires the information, but when the effective
import starts, the process immediately fails and a dialog box tells me, that
the QIX file cannot be imported.

Hope you have another suggestion.

Sorry no. When upgrading outside a region, QIF export/import is the only
way.

I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for.

Default Converting a Money 2002 Australia file to Money 2006 Deluxe US

I have just purchased Money 2006 Deluxe on my last trip to the US. I
installed it successfully but I struggle importing my money.mny file. The
only information I found regarding this problem is a KB message from
Microsoft telling me to export every individual account from Money 2002 as a
qix file.

I rather stay with Money 2002 than continuing with the qix export - import
procedure for every account.

Does anyone have experienced the same problem and have a viable solution
that works in less than an hour of time?
