Perhaps after you solve your Money problem you can take some lessons in the
Caps Lock key and learn not to SHOUT SO MUCH. It is entirely unnecessary and
hurts my eyes. Your Caps Lock key: Learn it, Use it, Love it!

Click the Start button, which is in the lower left side of your

Click Help

Enter "safe mode" , without the quotes, into the search or find box.

Thanks, but it won't let me do that either - I get a

You may need to manually rip it out. I'd recommend contacting support as
this will likely require removing some registry entries by hand. Unless you
don't want to reinstall. In that case, just remove the Money folder from
Windows Explorer. Usually this is installed under Program Files unless you
changed it from the default when you installed.

Hi,
I thought I posted a note about this yesterday, but don't
see it here. I have Money 2000 and cannot uninstall
either. I tried ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS from Control Panel,
but to uninstall, it requires the installation CD. I have
the CD, but still cannot uninstall Money. I get a window
asying the needed files are not on the CD. I have even
tried deleting from Explorer, but same window comes up.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Default Uninstalling Money

I'm a Quicken user but my new computer came with MS Money
2002 preinstalled, so it gave it a try and set it up.

What a pushee program, shop on line and automatically MS
Money pops up on the right. I like to select what account
or credit card to use. I finally stopped that pop up.

I don't like Money and installed Quicken a program I've
used for years, at least Quicken Allows you to control it.

Can't find an uninstall program for MS Money, tried
tpying in Uninstall in help, no luck.

Now with Money still controlling anything finanical you
can not download Statements into Quicken, when you click
on Downlaod statement MS Money takes over and wants to
download into Money.

I contacted Online Support for Money and I'm waiting for
a response.

Anyone else who considers trying MS Money be prepared to
stay with it or go through a major hassel removing it.
