But the cost at Sam's may be lower than the net cost after rebates from
elsewhere.

It depends on the store. Read the box. If you like rebates, you
would probably should probably avoid Sams and Costco.

I used Money to go to this page:

Here is what this page states:

You must have a Microsoft Passport to purchase and download the
software.


What if I don't want to use Passport? I don't have one and don't want
to get one, or if I do have one, I have no idea waht it or the
password.

If I buy it from a store, will I have to use Passport to install and
use it? I don't use Passport with the Trial version; don't know how I
got away with that, but it seems to work fine.

If i buy from a store, in a box and all, will I get the rebate? Or is
that only offered to those who download it?
