You could look at the OFX response file to see if the transactions
are in the .ofx file.

If you

1. copy the four lines at the bottom of this post between the
"====" lines to a file named provlog6.reg

2. open Money 2006

3. run provlog6.reg in a command window or with Start-> Run (the
registry bit that gets set gets cleared upon each update or
when you restart Money 2006.)

4. Do Update Now in Money, you will get a file named *RQ.txt (the
request) and another named *RS.txt (the response) in the same
directory as your .mny file. You can view the file with
Notepad or other text editor.

Analyzing it can be tricky. If you paste some or all of it into a
response post, modify the <ACCTID> XXXXXXXXXXXXnnnn line to remove
the numbers. Modify any balance numbers or payees. you don't want
known.

If there is not an error, expect the response file to have a line
that says <SEVERITY> INFO

Here is a typical charge transaction:
--------- <STMTTRN<TRNTYPE> DEBIT
<DTPOSTED> 20050728170000
<TRNAMT> -24.56
<FITID> 9876543200001
<SIC> 1234
<NAME> ROADRUNNER ACME ANVILS
</STMTTRN------------------------------

==============begin provlog6.reg================
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Money\15.0\On line]
"FLogProviderData"=dword:00000001
==============end provlog6.reg================

I have been doing that and it is quite the pain in the but. I'm inclined to
think there is something else going on because I downloaded the trial version
of 2006 and I'm experiencing the same problem. Bank One stated they are
showing where the data was sent to Microsoft and I can see the correct data
on money online, but it isn't coming to the computer. I have had the problem
before where I have had to upgrade every couple of years, but I'm not
convinced that is the issue this time since I tried the trial version and
experienced the same problem. Thanks for your comments.

The only thing you can do is enter transactions by hand and compare against
a paper account listing from your Bank.

Wow. That's draconian.

It does apply to that, and even to File-> Import of an OFX file, or a
QIF as a statement (tho not to QIF as a new or recovered account).

Microsoft can't 'force' you to upgrade, but they can stop providing service
after a certain point, including download service. If you don't want that
service or technical support, you can continue using the older version. I
don't think their limits apply to online banking provided directly by your
bank. It does apply to price updates and probably will apply to Yodlee
updates, but the Yodlee part isn't old enough yet to confirm that.

In addition, your bank may make the same choice. Providing support for
multiple older versions of software is costly. It's also likely to fail
sometime in the future, despite good intentions and effort on their part.

This sounds like a bug or a data format problem, not really a license
limitation.

bankone, aka CHASE customer support have been working on an issue. They
state they are transmitting data to Microsoft Money and I can even see the
correct transactions on MS Money online, but the statement will not download
to MS Money 2003 deluxe. When you check the call register you only see last
call encountered an error and there is a problem with the dat received from
thsi online provider. Call the provider. Well I ahve done that and they
ahve yet to solve my problem.

Anybody have any ideas what might be causing this?

Not sure how they were going to enforce it, but I read that MS will start forcing people to upgrade
every 2 years. Since 2003 is 2 years old, maybe its being blocked somehow.
