Only if somebody at your work or who administrates your machine set it up for you, would you be using a user account. So I think that is not your problem. You referred to odd things, which was a bit generic. ;-) - quote - > And perhaps thirdly, why should such then make Money 2000

In the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Money\8.0, you probably have something such as "AVHelpPath"="F:\MONEY\avhelp" or whatever. So the AVHelpPath probably refers to your CD drive. If you are adept at editing the registry, you can change the reference to refer to your hard drive rather than your CD drive. If you are not adept at that, find a friend who is. The path need not actually exist on the hard drive. - quote - > "Cal Learner" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Dimwit wrote: > > > > Is MS Money 2000 Standard compatable with XP Home Edition? | Is MS Money 2000 Standard compatable with XP Home Edition? Because after installing it on XP it seems to do strange things. Like some odd error message about a file name when selecting a 'tab' on 'options' menu! |
