Money apparently lacks the capability you're looking for. No way around it,
that I can see, except to record the insurance policy in base currency
equivalent. Unfortunately, that would be a static relationship.
Alternatively, record it in units of the base currency (without conversion,
e.g., 1 AUS$=1US$) but put a note in the description as to what the
insurance currency is. That won't accurately reflect the value in the
lifetime planner, but at least you'll have an accurate representation as to
the payoff.

Default Insurance Policies in Different Currencies

How do I set up Insurance Policies in different currencies ?
I am using Money 2006 Deluxe and when I create a insurance policy, it takes
the base currency as the default.
Appreciate any help here. Thanks
