Since specific reports at and after some period of time exhibit the problem, that's the time period to look for a problem transaction in. You might try other things like other reports for narrower sets of accounts/dates to see if any of then go toes up. Above all, protect all of your backups and save a copy of your file as it is not before diving into troubleshooting.
